If you paid GOAT for expedited shipping between 2020 and 2024, 6,205 refund payments announced by the FTC in October 2026 are worth checking against your old orders. The agency says this round totals more than $100,000 and goes to eligible customers who did not receive a refund directly from GOAT. Start with the official GOAT refund page, then open the email account you used at checkout.

Find the shipping charge and the refund together

Search your mail for “GOAT,” including archived messages. Narrow the dates to the purchase period and look for order confirmations mentioning expedited delivery. Open the actual receipt: a total card charge alone may not tell you how much you paid for the faster shipping option. Save the order number, order date, delivery option and shipping fee in the same note.

Next, look for a refund already issued by GOAT. Check the order correspondence and the card or payment account used for that purchase. Keep any earlier refund beside the shipping charge, even if the merchant’s description is different. The current payment round is for eligible customers who missed the company’s earlier refund, so an old credit matters when you ask about your status.

Do not turn an empty search into a conclusion. You may have used another email address, checked out through a different payment account, or already archived the relevant receipt. Conversely, finding an expedited order does not by itself prove that you are on the payment list. The official page describes who the program covers; the administrator can help with your individual payment.

The FTC’s October announcement says most recipients will receive a check. Check your physical mail as well as your inbox. If you receive one, read the instructions and cash it within 90 days. If you receive a PayPal payment, the acceptance window is 30 days. Use the deadline attached to your own payment, not the date you found this article.

Before following a message’s instructions, open the FTC page yourself and compare the case name and administrator. Its listed contact is JND Legal Administration, 1-888-970-2410. If you need to ask about an unfamiliar check, a missing payment or an old mailing address, use that published contact rather than a number supplied by an unexpected caller.

For a PayPal payment, open PayPal directly and check your activity. The FTC’s refund FAQ explains how to verify its refund programs and warns that the agency does not demand an upfront payment to release a refund. A request to pay a “processing fee” is a reason to stop and verify, not another step in collecting this money.

Why the delivery fee deserves its own line

The FTC’s 2024 case announcement alleged that GOAT missed advertised deadlines on some expedited orders. The agency also alleged failures to offer the required choice of accepting a shipping delay or cancelling for a prompt refund. GOAT agreed to a settlement. The October 2026 notice concerns payments for the expedited-shipping issue; it is not a promise to refund every purchase from the marketplace.

For your own records, keep the price of the item, the extra delivery charge and any money returned as separate entries. That makes it easier to see which part of an old order has actually been repaid. When a check clears or you accept the PayPal payment, record the amount and date beside the original shipping fee, then close the reminder.
